We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of all the fine jewelry we make but in the event you are dissatisfied with your purchase you can return it for a refund within 30 days from the date your item was shipped. The following is a complete set of instructions for return:
- Contact us for a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION code; it is important to receive this code prior to shipping your item, packages received without prior authorization may be subject to refusal. For security purposes only the named purchaser in our records can request the RMA code.
- Pack your item for return carefully; we suggest you use the manner in which we packed your item be a guide for return shipping. We ask that you do not reuse the box we shipped your item in or a shipping envelope of any kind. Damages caused by negligent packaging can adversely affect your refund. Include ALL items we included (jewelry boxes and appraisal).
- Insure your item for transit; for your own protection while the item is in shipping it is mandatory that adequate insurance coverage be purchased. If an item becomes lost during transit it is the responsibility of the customer to file an insurance claim with the shipper, any claims paid by the shipper will be considered a refund.
- Ship the item; please use the following address as written:

Do not write terms like “diamonds” or “jewelry” on the box or in the address as this only invites the possibility of theft. We also ask that you write the RMA code conspicuously on the package.
Once we have received your package we require a few days to examine the item for damage and wear and when we are satisfied that the item meets “new and unworn” condition we will begin processing the return. Please allow adequate time for a return to be completed. Funds are returned to the credit card used in the original purchase, we cannot issue refunds to a different credit card. In the event funds cannot be returned to the original card used in the purchase we will issue the funds in the form of a company check. This decision is made at the time the funds are available for release. Any check will be drawn out to the person named as the purchaser on record. The customer may use any shipping service they prefer, please be aware that Koopeem.com does not reimburse return shipping costs and due to insurance regulations we cannot provide any return shipping services. It is the customer’s responsibility to keep and record any tracking information on their return package; in the event a return is not received the customer must initiate any claims or investigation with the shipping agency. Any expedited shipping costs (i.e. overnight, international) added to the final price of the item are not refundable. discretion. Refunds are issued in the order they are received, to ensure a prompt refund please ship the item as quickly as possible. Packages received late will experience delays in processing.
SPECIAL NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Customers shipping returns from international addresses must follow the same instructions above but to ensure the return meets the 30 day return guidelines customers are required to provide return shipping and tracking information that states clearly the date the package was accepted by the shipping agent. International packages MUST BE postmarked within the 30 day return period in order to avoid late fees. This information should be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line reading the customer’s name and RMA number. If a web based tracking method is available a link to such information should be emailed to this same address.
The following items are ineligible for refund:
- Special order and custom order items; any items that have been modified from their original form at the customer’s request or any items we manufacture specifically at the customer’s request.
- Items that have been engraved; any items that have been engraved at the customer’s request including engraving done by Koopeem.com
- Rings that have been resized; any rings received that have been resized while in the customer’s possession are not refundable and will be returned to the customer.
- Closeout or discontinued items; any item that has been deemed a final sale due to discontinuation of the style or as a manufacturer’s closeout cannot be returned.
RESTOCKING FEES:
Packages received past the 30 day return period will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Due to the increased cost of manufacturing all platinum orders returned will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Any returns received that are missing items such as the appraisal will be deducted from the final amount being returned. Items showing visible signs of wear will incur a restocking fee based on the level of damage. Severely damaged items may be refused a refund and returned to the buyer.
SPECIAL AND CUSTOM ORDERS
A special order is defined as an item that has been modified from its original form at the request of the customer. Customer’s requesting changes to existing items should be aware that it cannot be returned for a refund, we offer to replace or exchange the item. Custom orders are any items made specifically at the customer’s request and cannot be returned for refunds, replacements or exchanges. Custom made orders are a final sale.
LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE
We offer a limited lifetime service guarantee on all the jewelry we create. We want to ensure that your purchase stays like new for the life you own it. We offer to replace any loose or missing round cut diamonds up to 0.05 ct. in size, diamonds larger than 0.05 ct. can be replaced at current market value. This guarantee does not cover fancy shape diamonds (any cut other than round) and they can also be replaced at current market value. This offer includes replacement of any missing round diamonds and the labor to replace the stones. This policy applies to jewelry purchased from Koopeem.com and is subject to change without prior notice. This guarantee can be voided if an item was repaired by a jewer other than Koopeem.com or if the item displays excessive damage due to neglect. This offer does not include polishing, this service can be requested for a fee. Koopeem.com does not offer to replace any center diamonds on engagement rings.
PAYMENTS
We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) through either the Authorize.Net or PayPal services or over the telephone. Customers purchasing with the “buy now” feature on our website will have the option of selecting Authorize.Net or PayPal as their purchasing options. Customers using the Authorize.Net terminal will see the merchant name as AAA Diamonds Corp. on their statement. During checkout the customer has the option to register with our website, this allows our system to store information for any future transactions but the credit card information will not be recorded anywhere. When filling out the required fields please remember to include the address for the billing statement and an address where you would like your item to be received. Please note that we cannot ship to P. O. Boxes.
SHIPPING
We are pleased to announce that we include 2nd Day Express shipping from FedEx with any paid order over $500. We also offer expedited services for an additional fee. The following are a list of available services though FedEx:
- FedEx First Overnight ( A. M. delivery guarantee) – $100
- FedEx Priority Overnight (business hours delivery guarantee) – $45
- FedEx Standard Overnight(P. M. delivery guarantee) – $40
- FedEx 2nd Day A. M. Delivery (A. M. delivery guarantee) – $25
- FedEx Express Saver (3 day) – $15
- FedEx Ground – $10
Any express shipping services are additional to the final price of any purchase and are not refundable if the item is returned. An express service does not guarantee an item will arrive at the recipient’s location by any predetermined schedule. By selecting express services the customer is aware that such services will be used when the item is ready for shipment. We also offer shipping services though UPS and the US Post Office, if a customer requires specific services from another shipper arrangements must be made prior to completion of an order. Some additional fees may be required, please call for information.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We can and do ship worldwide for a flat fee of $75. Any shipment leaving the United States is subject to an importation tariff or customs charges at its destination country. Any customs fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the recipient, failure to pay for customs fees is not a condition of return and the customer may be liable for return shipping charges. Customs charges vary from country to country, it is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of the fees in their own country. Koopeem.com cannot provide quotes or information about customs fees to any specific country. The following are a list of countries M. A. Jewelry Designs Corp. cannot ship to: St. Lucia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Russia and France. Due to a continent wide restriction on finished jewelry import from the United States Koopeem.com cannot ship to any African country.
TRACKING INFORMATION
We do our best to keep customers informed on the status of their orders and we do provide tracking information when applicable. For this we ask that customers leave contact information (email and telephone) with their orders to ensure their specific tracking information arrives. The FedEx shipping service provides tracking status when the contact information is entered into the shipping manifest, this will arrive as an automated email, phone call or both from FedEx. Koopeem.com makes no guarantee of the receipt of this information nor can we be held responsible for any non-receipt of tracking information. All tracking information is provided by the shipping agency through third party sources and do not originate from Koopeem.com website.
APPRAISALS
We provide an independent appraisal for your insurance coverage needs on all finished jewelry items (excluding engagement mountings and semi mountings). The purpose of this report is to furnish an accurate description of the item to insurance companies for coverage needs and contains information about the specific item including diamond color and clarity and metal purity. The appraiser preparing the report is an independent third party whose business is appraising jewelry and diamonds for insurance purposes and is not an employee of Koopeem.com We include this report with the purchase of any finished (ready to wear) piece of jewelry valued $500 or greater as a gift for choosing to do business with us. If a customer’s insurance company rejects this report for their individual coverage it is the responsibility of the customer to obtain an appraisal that is satisfactory to their needs. Due the subjective nature of diamond grading it is possible to have discrepancies of color and clarity grades on mounted diamonds. Customers should be aware that differences can be from the appraiser’s individual training and experience, any discrepancies must be in writing from the appraiser with their contact information included. Verbal appraisals are not acceptable in cases of discrepancy. We reserve the right to contact the appraiser for additional information about the nature of their appraisal. If a customer is basing a return against the opinion of a secondary appraisal a written copy should be included.
PRIVACY POLICY
This website uses temporary internet files also known as cookies to record each visitor to our website. This allows us to track new and return users to the site as well as diagnose potential problems with the website server. These cookies also allow you to utilize the shopping cart feature, if your computer is configured to not accept these cookies the shopping cart may not work. These cookies are not malicious and are programmed to delete in 30 days from the date of your last visit. Your privacy is of great concern to us. We never sell personal information associated with any customer to other organizations.
ORDER CANCELLATION
We generally process orders taken through the ‘buy now’ feature on this website on the following business day the order was received, orders received after 6:00 PM EST Friday and weekends will be processed the following Monday barring any major holidays. We ask that if you intend on cancelling your order that you contact us preferably by telephone within 48 hours of the time the order was placed to effectively stop your order from being shipped. Orders cancelled after 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on the status of the order. Orders cancelled after an item is shipped are subject to charges associated with the cost of shipping and will be deducted from the total amount being returned. Koopeem.com reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason with all funds being returned to the customer in the manner they were received.
TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
Koopeem.com is not responsible for any errors of information on our website. We reserve to the right to refuse or cancel an order if it is determined the price listed was in error with any and all funds being returned in the manner they were received. Items added to the site that have not yet been priced will be marked as “$0.00”. Orders received either over the phone or on the ‘buy now’ feature for these items will be refused.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Koopeem.com shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Purchaser agrees that this Agreement will, for all intent and purposes, be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New York as applied to contracts entered into and to be performed entirely in the state of New York, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Purchaser agrees that any dispute arising out of this Agreement may be addressed by binding arbitration at Koopeem.com’s sole discretion. Purchaser agrees that in the absence of arbitration, any suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be commenced exclusively in state court in New York City, New York, and that Purchaser irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts. If allowed by law, all parties using the site or purchasing products from Koopeem.com agree not to bring any legal action on any legal theory against Koopeem.com more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice except for actions arising out of longer warranties offered by Koopeem.com
